they said to use the support report feature and pick "feedback" as the category, sending them complaints will be much more useful than @-ing staff. So everyone who hates the new dash? Flood the support box!

how to get the old tumblr layout

first install (and enable) the tampermonkey addon type into google "tampermonkey addon [name of browser you want]" and it should show up! literally all I had to do was click install and that was it.

NOTE: i tried to do it in safari it asked for an email then a credit card this is NOT what you are looking for. it should come up and all you have to do is click the download button I had to change to Firefox to get it to work but I managed. this is what it looks like now. its also easy to get rid of if you are not happy. you should NOT have to pay or put in an email or anything like that if its asking look somewhere else or on a different browser and try again.

then go to the dashboard unfucker github page, scroll down and click on "unfucker.user.js" and then click the "raw" button and it should install the script for you, and then you just gotta refresh any tumblr tabs i may take a moment

after all this you should be good to go you will get this after geting everything up and running

click the settings thing and check and put what you want or dont want. ( you can also get rid of tumblr live so i don't have to keep turning it off every 7 days ) also If your searches are skewed to the left like they are on some widescreens, slide the positioning entirely to the right. it will fix it until you search again, at which point: slide left, slide all the way to the right to fix it again.

Since it seems like everyone including me has been hit by the new layout beam, heres how to get the old layout back:

Step 1: Install the Stylus extension [chrome/firefox]

Step 2: Install this script for it (all you have to do is click install)

There ya go :D
